The contract finalization meeting is set at 31-36 days from your original contract date, whether your contract is written with or without an addendum at your original contract date.
At the contract finalization meeting, you will review the entire Consolidated Sales Agreement, Color Sheet, Plot Plan, and Detail Sheets. Also, at the contract finalization meeting, you will release any financing contingencies and pay your construciton deposit.
TAYLOR-MORLEY HOMES will apply for a Construction Permit with the local government once we have been notified of a morgage financing commitment and have received your options, color selections, and final construction deposit.
Some local governments may extend the permit time due to architectural review.
Please note: It is the policy of Taylor-Morley not to give Purchasers advice as to when to lock in their mortgage interest rate. Purchasers will need to consult with their lender to decide their degree of risk and expense. If the purchaser decides to lock in on an interest rate before receiving his or her closing letter from the corporate office, this person DOES so at his or her own risk and cannot hold Taylor-Morley liable.
Once our corporate offices receive authorization to begin construction, our staff begins the process of ordering all supplies and materials for your home.
ACCORDINGLY, ANY CHANGES MADE AFTER THIS TIME WILL REQUIRE A PROCESSING FEE OF $200.00 FOR ANY CHANGE ITEMS - EVEN IF YOUR PERSONAL BUILDER HAS NOT YET SCHEDULED THE WORK.
