While waiting for your financing commitment, you'll work with your Community Sales Manager to finalize the selection of option, custom option, and materials for your home.
Custom Changes you select are due within 10 days - Custom Changes must be submitted to Taylor-Morley within (10)
days of contract acceptance in order to initiate important engineering and architectural addendum drawings, etc. (Necessary for permitting and contruction.)
Making Structural Changes
Your Community Sales Manager will review Structual Features and Options with you, giving you the opportunity to evaluate and consider each. Previous buyer feedback has taught us the importance of presenting these options. To ensure that you never find yourself in the position of saying, "If I had only known that I could have..."
Examples of Popular Structural Options include:
- Floor plan
- Decks
- Bay windows
- Patios
- Screened in porches
- Opt. 2nd floor plans
- Hearth rooms

- Elevation (any changes, i.e. brick/stone)
- Basement options (9' pour, rough-in plumbing, finishing)
- Cantilever/masonry fireplaces
- Extensions to footprint
- Changes to load bearing walls
- Plumbing changes different than blueprint
- 9' first and second floors (ceiling height)

Final Acceptance of Structural Changes and Options Due Within (10) Days of Contract
This is the point in the construction development process at which all structual changes must be clearly defined, pricing accepted, and architectual drawings produced to detail the modifications. Your home's construction drawings must be submitted by Taylor-Morley Homes to the appropriate government authority for approval and acceptance in order for your new home to proceed on schedule.
Sign the Addendum Drawings to Accept
You will be asked to review with your Community Sales Manager and sign all Architectural Addendum Drawings detailing structural modifications you have approved and authorized for your home.
NO STRUCTURAL CHANGES WILL BE MAKE AFTER THIS POINT
($1,000 STRUCTURAL CHANGE FEE CHARGED FOR STRUCTURAL CHANGES AFTER THE FIRST 10 DAYS)
Your Community Sales Manager will confirm with you that all structural changes under consideration are finalized and either accepted or declined. Please check with your Community Sales Manager if you have any questions or concerns regarding the status or applicability of structural change requests.
