Section #8 - Construction Begins!
Depending on various factors, construction of your home will typically require three to five months. Among the variables are weather, material and labor shortages, etc (see addendum to contract). As a result, we will not be able to guarantee you a specific closing date at this point. Curing the pre-construction meeting, your Personal Builder will explain to you the building process. However, if anything occurs during the construction of your home, which you do not understand, don't hesitate to call your Personal Builder with questions. You will undoubtedly want to visit your home site while construction is in progress. However, insurance and local government ordinances place certain restrictions on visiting constructin sites. So that we can remain in compliance, and for your own safety, please schedule appointment, during regular work hours, with your Personal Builder to visit your home while construciton is underway. NO OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS During construction, the home you have contracted for is under the control of your Personal Builder and the local government-building inspector. Transfer of ownership does not occur until the formal closing. Therefore, we must restrict homebuyers from personally making any additions, deletions, or engageing private contractors for installation of any items not included in the Home Purchase Contract. Any fixtures, electrical wiring, irrigations system, landscaping, etc., installed by the homebuyer or outside contractor will be removed at the buyer's expense.
